Here’s all the books that I have read over this past week!
BEWARE OF SPOILERS!
An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason by Virginia Boecker

This book was great! It kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Katherine’s determination to go undercover and the courage to pull out of doing her mission because she knew it wasn’t right. Toby’s wits in designing the play and how observant he is about all the players in the play. I loved reading about both Katherine and Toby’s points of view, from opposite sides of the battlefield. But personally, I thought that the ending was a bit rushed. I wish there was more closure for a happy ending.
Perfect on Paper by Sophia Gonzales

This book is a must-read! Everything that you want a cheesy teen rom-com to be. This book covers a range of topics from biphobia, toxic parents, to getting drunk and spending all night in the bathroom. All the characters grow throughout the novel, especially Darcy. She was a great protagonist and I loved reading from her point of view. And Brougham is so sweet. He is so kind and willing to help, the perfect book boyfriend. Highly recommend!
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Ahh this book was sooo good! It was so descriptive that I thought that I was at the circus. There were so many alternating story lines following Celia and Marco and Bailey, Poppet, and Widget. But somehow I didn’t get confused and they all ended well. There was so much magic and mystery that I just finished the book within a couple of hours!
